Datu Kasaligan Carlito 'Bebot' Rosmeros, a Higaonon from Buenavista, Agusan del Norte; a father; a grandfather; a husband; a leader.
 
Popularly known as Datu Bebot is an effective story-teller of his tribe's aspirations and his own experiences.
 
He may not been into formal education but he is more than an educator himself and did not stopped him to engage the world outside his ancestral roots. He has been a Health Worker for more than a decade in his Barangay, a President to a mixed-population Parents-Teachers Association where he regularly visited homes of the students to engage the parents and encouraged the kids to finish their studies and he also has been a speaker to several occasions on Indigenous Peoples Rights and struggles.
 
During the Interfaith Ecological Exchange organized last July 12, 2022 in Sibagat, Agusan del Sur he shared that his tribes and other IP tribes' appreciation to nature as the source of 'Life' is the orientation that humanity must have to save the earth from the intensifying imbalance and destruction.
 
He is now an entrusted member of the tribal council in his ancestral domain and been exerting efforts to maintain the harmonious relationship between the Christian and ethnic IP populations in their locality while organizing people's organizations to help strengthen the relationships and the community as a whole.
 
Datu Bebot is the current Chairperson of Kilusang Maralita sa Kanayunan - Caraga Cluster and a member to the Council of Peoples' Representatives of Mindanao Peoples' Peace Movement representing the Higaonon tribe.
