It is with a heavy heart that amidst of the celebration of the Mindanao Week of Peace, a bomb exploded in the Dimaporo Gym MSU-Main Campus while our catholic brothers and sisters were having their Sunday mass.
While the authorities are still assessing and conducting a thorough investigation, we call for everyone to join hands in prayer for the victims and their families as we offer our condolences.
Pakigdait Inc. firmly believes that violence is never justified and the unnecessary loss of lives—especially those who were merely seeking to pray—happened on a Sunday and within a mass. We believe that every human has the right to practice their religion without getting persecuted for it.
In the name of Interfaith harmony, may we stay motivated to stand together against terrorism regardless of faith, culture, and race.
Today, is indeed a dark day for us at Pakigdait Inc., and we continue to pray for true peace in Mindanao. For there is no other way to peace, peace is the only way.
