The Kalilang Traditional Music Ensemble stands out as a resident cultural group (RCG) in the university and cultural institution dedicated to showcasing genuine Meranao music and dance. Their performances are characterized by a commitment to preserving authenticity, employing gestures and movements true to their origins. With a mission to safeguard the traditional art forms of the Meranao people, the Ensemble is dedicated to extensive research, education, documentation, and promotion of folk arts including dance, song, music, martial arts, and the kulintang gong ensemble across Mindanao, Sulu, and Palawan.
