IMove Peace Mother's Day 2024 Statement: Enough with barbarism, JustPeace in Palestine!

Enough with barbarism, JustPeace in Palestine!

As we observe Mother's Day this year, we would like to extend our heartfelt solidarity to Palestinian Mothers and all mothers standing for JustPeace worldwide.

The league of nations has called and ruled out that an excessive force against a particular race is happening in the occupied Gaza strip today. The carnage of the children, women, elders and innocent civilians is witnessed by the global citizens and cannot be justified using the October 7 Hamas attack. What is happening is Gaza is beyond reciprocity and is barbaric.

According to reports, the October 7 anti-occupation attack and the excessive retaliatory war of Israel government has already claimed over 35,000 people with 34,262 Palestinian and 1,410 Israeli including 97 journalists (92 Palestinian, 2 Israeli and 3 Lebanese) and over 224 humanitarian aid workers, including 179 employees of United Nations as of April 2024.

The children of God in the Holy Land regardless of the faith have suffered so much not just in the past 6 months but since the conquest for dominance of the British empire against the Ottoman power (1917) when the promised land for the persecuted Jews in Europe was unilaterally imposed by the super powers like Britain thru the Balfour Declaration (November 1917) in the past and backed by the United States of America of the recent days.

As an interfaith organization of different nationalist catholic traditions in the Philippines, Interfaith Movement for Peace in Mindanao (IMovePeace) calls on all nations of all faiths to be united in universality of love, justice and compassion to call for an immediate end of the Palestine crisis.

We commend all youth, students and all social organizations all over the world that have been persistent and consistent in standing for justice and peace in Palestine and for the Palestinians.

We also join the Jews in different countries calling for an end of the genocide against the Palestinian race.
We cannot punish a race for a wrongdoing of a few and we cannot allow genocide and or dominance of a stronger national identity over a weaker nation. Further, there must be coexistence and mutual respect among the children of God regardless of religious affiliations, race, nationality, age, gender and occupation.

Not anybody nor any institution can claim superior than the Lord.

As we plant justice locally and globally, we can always harvest peace everywhere, anywhere.

The best gift for Palestinian Mothers and for all peoples in the world today is the Immediate End of the War and Violence in Palestine.

Sustainable and democratic sovereignty-based conflict settlement we call and pray.
