OFW/OBW Recruitment practices in the mainland province of BARMM discussed with LGUs - Kaagapay OFW RSC

 

Seventeen (17) representatives from 4 LGU partners of Kaagapay gathered together in the Legislative Building of Kapatagan, Lanao del Sur and discussed about the recruitment practices in the mainland province of BARMM.

Kaagapay presented the result of its Case Study on the recruitment practices while partner LGUs from Matanog, Barira, Balabagan and Kapatagan validated the results. They have also discussed & shared the services in their respective municipalities that are available for overseas Bangsamoro workers (OBWs).

 

 

At the end of the program, there is a strong recommendation that OFW/OBW Help Desk be established in the barangays of Balabagan & the conduct of Psychosocial First Aid Training for LGU service providers.
