South Upi folks march, oppose Mineral Reservation area plan

South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur / Dec 7, 2023 - Teduray and Lambangian Clans and Settlers manifest their opposition to the proposed mineral reservation area comprising more than 3,000 hectares.

In a statement, the Task Force Bantay Kalikasan expects more than. 500 individuals to show up in a scheduled Public Consultation turned IEC called upon by BARMM's MENRE.

The attendees marched towards the municipal capitol where a consultation or presentation on the mineral research or study is expected to happen.
