ISDA sa PASKO 2.0, a celebration of community, giving, smiles and inspiration

Inisyatibang Silingan, Dagaya Ambitan or (ISDA) or Neighborhood Initiative to Share the Blessings comes back this year 2023 (December 26) with exciting add-ons.

ISDA sa PASKO is Fish for Christmas literally in english and symbolizes how Jesus divided the fish for the hungry thousands (With but five loaves of bread and two small fishes, donated by a small lad, Jesus feeds 5,000 men plus their wives and children).

A neighborhood and community initiative sharing the bounty of the laborious year. An initiative that invites and inspires more to take part openly without religious and political prejudices.

Started a year ago by Reynand P. Flora, the administrator of Flora Tilapia Hatchery as his way of sharing the fruits of his family's blessings and graces received for the laborious year-round. It is his humble expression of giving smiles to the kids nearby to their farm.

This year it goes beyond again from the expectations. More has been participating and volunteering. last year's games and gift-giving has been added with story reading and sharing of pre-loved toys and clothes from earnest donors.

The drained fishpond turned into a natural pool enjoyed by the kids.

Kids and parents sorted donated clothes.

Volunteers prepare the fresh Tilapia. Behind are the ponds of FTH.

Far from being a charity work but a celebration of the community, of giving, of smiles and inspiration.

Thanks Flora family for opening your home to more members.

Salamat all Mangingisda!
