Caraga Region Tourism Stakeholders Summit held - DOT Caraga

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: During the Caraga Region Tourism Stakeholders Summit organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) regional office led by Director Ivonnie B. Dumadag, local government heads signified their support to the DOT’s vision of transforming the Philippines into a tourism powerhouse in Asia.
Butuan City Mayor Ronnie Vicente C. Lagnada, in his message delivered by Vice Mayor Lawrence Fortun, stressed the importance of collaboration. 
 
“𝘞𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘊𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘎𝘈, 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦,” he said, noting that the region is a complete package of wealth, history, culture, and vast natural wonders. 
 
Representing Agusan Del Norte Governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante by Provincial Administrator Elizabeth Marie Calo, the governor likewise said that through consolidated efforts, Caraga is poised to be a premier tourist destination.

𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘢 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥,” she said.
 
For his part, Agusan del Norte 1st District Rep. Jose S. Aquino, represented by Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Cherry May Busa, conveyed the people of Caraga’s sense of creativity that would make the region stand out.
 
“𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦. 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦,” he said.
 
On the sidelines of the gathering, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco also led the distribution of plaques to the awardees of the Pasidungog Awards, an incentivized program organized by the DOT Caraga to recognize the vital contributions and continuous support of LGUs, private stakeholders, individuals, and groups in the region.
