GRASSROOTS' APPROACH: Naturland co-organizes PGS with MASIPAG stakeholders

Naturland Philippines co-organized a Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Workshop with Sibagat on March 12-13 in collaboration with Magsasaka at Siyentipiko para sa Pag-unlad ng Agricultura (MASIPAG) and the local farmer's group. The workshop aimed to discuss practical steps of PGS implementation by sharing the experience of the already established PGS PALAI, Santo Nino (in the process of gaining accreditation). Nico Soldevilla, Quality Assurance Officer, facilitated the said workshop.

Naturland has been engaged with Sibagat in pushing for organic agriculture locally and beyond and providing a market for local produce.
