Church leaders experience Pinandagatan Waterfalls
The Sibagat Ecumenical Churches Association composed of more than 10 religious denominations hold a benchmarking at the Pinandagatan Waterfalls, Brgy New Tubigon, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur today (March 19, 2024).
Pastor Victor Pacullo, SECA Chairperson said that, "this is in relation to the commitment of the interfaith alliance to actively participate in the restoration of the forests and other environmental advocacies in Sibagat across communities. More so, this is the core of our role as church leaders.'
"As a frontrunner of PALASANG, an environmental movement in our municipity, to experience and get reconnected with nature is very important for SECA," the church leader said further.
Secretary of SECA Bishop Pedro Fenis, Jr in dialect added, "Atong sination ang importansya sa kinaiyahan og ang bili niini diha sa atong kaugalingon, diha sa matag pamilya ug tibuok katawhan nga gialagaran og labaw sa tanan ang kamahinungdanon sa Kabuhatan nga gipiyal sa Diyos ngadto sa katawhan."
"We are thankful for the logistical and all kinds of support and facilitation that made the immersion successful. We are thankful to the Municipal CSO Desk Office and the New Tubigon Barangay Local Government Unit and personnel," Bishop Pedro, Jr ended.

Pinandagatan Waterfalls is in Barangay New Tubigon, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur and has been tapped to promote cultural, ecological and agricultural tourism potentials of the municipality.
